Words can’t explain how stupid I feel.
I applied for my dream summer job this morning…
…Realized this afternoon that I wrote an incorrect phone number down for one of my references…
…Called and left a message explaining what I did. Came out all flustered. E-mailed the correct info…
What a stupid, unprofessional, move.
Goodbye job.

You’re so awesome that you could screw up BIG time, and they’ll still say “this girl is awesome, she NEEDS to work here”. No Worries Hun! *crosses fingers for you to get the job*

Could’ve been worse. You could’ve fallen into a puddle on your way to submit the paperwork

of the two potential jobs which I’ve done something stupid on during the initial application process (forgot my resume once, and forgot my transcript the other time), I actually got the jobs. Hopefully its a good omen for you too (although initially humbling and embarassing
)

I agree with Everyone else here, It doesn’t mean “goodbye job”.
You made an error, Everyone does, but you took the effort to ensure that your future employers have the correct information, and that makes you look good to them.

[…] April has not been a good Breanne month. Besides the obvious, and my drama queen behavior at Beta’s year end BBQ, it has been a month of disappointments. More specifically, it has been a month filled with instances of small losses, of which include: […]

[…] I need a job. I actually have an interview for this job on May 2nd, but because it took them so long to get their ducks in order and call me for an interview, and because I made that stupid mistake, I’ve pretty much convinced myself I won’t get it. I’m applying for a few other jobs just to cover all my bases. It is quite unfortunate that all my experience is in sales, I swear that isn’t all I can do! I really don’t want to go back to working at a mall. At all. […]
